The Bright Futures After School Youth Group from the County South Family Resource Center recently celebrated the end of the school year with a special trip to see Disney’s Frozen at Syracuse Stage. The outing gave students the opportunity to experience live theater while enjoying a beloved story brought to life on stage.
Experiences like live theater offer more than entertainment. Research has shown that attending live performances can help young people develop empathy, strengthen emotional awareness, and gain a deeper understanding of different perspectives. Watching characters navigate challenges and relationships on stage creates meaningful opportunities for learning, reflection, and personal growth.
PEACE, Inc. is grateful to Tracey White and the team at Syracuse Stage for helping make this experience possible. Their continued support and hospitality help create memorable opportunities that enrich the lives of local youth and encourage learning beyond the classroom.
