Lauren Sanson has had the opportunity to work in several different roles with PEACE over the years. She first started in 2014 and worked until 2019, when she took some time off to stay home and raise her children. Once they started school, she was excited to return to PEACE in 2021.
She started as an Early Head Start Teacher, then became a Classroom Specialist, and now serves as the Disabilities Coordinator. Being able to see Head Start from different perspectives has helped her grow both personally and professionally.
She truly loves the work they do in Head Start and Early Head Start. One of her favorite parts of her job is watching children and families grow during their time with them and seeing the difference their programs can make. Whether she is supporting teachers, partnering with families, or helping children access the services they need, she enjoys being part of work that has a positive impact on others.
