The Frank DeFrancisco Eastwood Community Center kicked off Hispanic Heritage Month with a special cultural exhibit celebrating Mexico and Colombia. The exhibit featured two tables filled with colorful and meaningful items that offered seniors an opportunity to explore the traditions and cultures of both countries.
Seniors had the chance to view traditional clothing, crafts, books, photographs, toys, handmade bags, and other unique cultural items. The exhibit sparked curiosity and conversation as seniors asked questions, explored the displays, and learned more about the cultures represented.
